PlagioCare Treatment

Plagiocephaly is the word that is often used to describe a flattened area on one part of an infant's head, this is usually to one side at the back of the head. Technology in Motion from Össur is recognised as the UK’s leading provider of treatment for infants who have plagiocephaly. We offer a free, no obligation assessment. The treatment that we use is called PlagioCare™ and each helmet is designed individually for your child to ensure that maximum improvement is achieved with as little disruption to you and your child’s daily routine. Each helmet is shaped and trimmed to ensure maximum results within a single treatment and correction, comfort and safety are the highest priorities of our care.

This treatment is in use in 5 centres in the UK and Holland and our clinicians have extensive experience in treating the very young babies who need our services. Our team has over 5 years experience and has successfully treated over 3500 infants with plagiocephaly. In Holland, PlagioCare™ is part of the normal treatment offered by that country’s health service, however this is regarded by UK doctors as exceptional and is not normally available through the NHS.

For a free, no obligation assessment, please contact your nearest clinic and we will make an appointment for you.

Technology in Motion from Össur is an ethical company and is dedicated to reducing the incidence and severity of head shape deformities in the UK's infant and child population through education, training and treatment.
