Technology in Motion from Össur is recognised as the UK’s leading provider of treatment for infants who have plagiocephaly. The treatment that we use, PlagioCare™ is Europe’s leading treatment developed by Össur using the latest photographic scanning and manufacturing techniques and equipment, combined with exceptional clinical knowledge and care.

This treatment is in available in 5 UK centres and several centres in Holland. All of our clinicians have extensive experience in treating the very young babies who need our help.

Individually designed and manufactured helmets

Each helmet is individually designed and manufactured within highly developed protocols to ensure that maximum improvement is achieved with as little disruption to you and your child’s daily routine as possible.

With 150 to 200 infants in care at any one time you can be assured that your baby will receive the very highest level of care. In 2004, the clinicians at Technology in Motion brought Cranial Remoulding to the UK and we have now successfully treated over 3,500 infants. Every baby who is treated achieves a wholly positive, verifiable improvement in head shape.

PlagioCare Services

In Holland, PlagioCare™ is part of the normal treatment offered by that country’s health service, however this condition is not recognised by UK and it is not normally available through the NHS.
